Let's get straight to the point.
I have this idea, where people can create factions, clans, or whatever you like to call them.
People can create a clan when they have a certain amount of people. (Say, a minimum of 3) They can give it their own name (as long as it's not something offensive n shit) Or like only builders can create clans. (thinking of, person creates clan, invites 2 other people, and if the clan doesn't have at least 3 people within 5 minutes, it gets deleted automatically)
And your Ingame name would look like this: [CLANNAME][BUILDERTITLE] NAME (And then as well a clan name character limit, so it doesn't get too flooded)
The clan leader would be able to invite other people to the clan with a request.
Such clans could be used for so many things:
-Special Teamed Survival Games
-PvP Clans
-Clan minigames
-Teamed Contests (Such like building contest)
What also would be a very cool addition to this, is like clan statistics. Which would be like an automated board with signs with (some of) the following statistics:
-Kills (For individual players, and for the whole clan)
-Deaths (For individual players, and for the whole clan)
-List of every clan member, and who of the clan is online at the moment.
-Somehow the total wins of the clan?
And a final idea for this would be:
Another special plotworld for clans. What does this mean?
Simply:
Big ass plots (like 3 - 4 times the size of the current plots) where clans can build together. (Preferably their own clan citadel, or something which indicates that it belongs to a certain clan). So every clan member is able to build on there. The clan leader is in charge of the plot, and can modify it in any way.
(In this plot could also be another Clan-Statistics board)
Somewhere in spawn could also be a board with every available clan, and their clan leaders. And how you can join them (which is decided by the clan leader)
