- Griefing / stealing / pvp 100% allowed in the wilderniss, this will highly encourage use of towns. Not allowed to grief parts that are clearly part of a town but not yet officialy claimed. I want the griefing so you can take over people's place if they build too close for comfort./

- Claiming pieces of land shouldnt depend on amount of inhabitants, just on the money you have. This server doesn't have a lot of people and I want to make big towns even when you don't have 10000 citizens

- Town ranks: Towns should have certain ranks in them with some plugin abilities
for example: The mayor (obviously, is already in towny plugin) can claim land and make taxes, the economy guy can trade with global shop (see below) and most of other things dont need plugins, for example a town architect designs where things go, but it doesn't need plugins. Then you have shop owners in towns, miners/woodcutters/people that bring supplies etc. etc.


- There should be a 'global shop' around the spawn, owned by an admin with unlimited money and plugin-operated, will only buy items like diamonds, iron, gold and whatnot. This will have a source of money for the server.

Problem with the global shop thing is, people who were to hack (e.g. xray) would be able to obtain money (therefore better town... and whatever) without being easily noticable.

Without a global shop it adds the factor that people have to be somewhat trusted/active to be able to sell things, and not just live off of themselves. So if someone is a complete dick with no allies, you aren't going to have any sales... which is how it works irl. ha.

Yeah I guess it could be a manual shop, but then everytime an OP came online he would be spammed with 'cen sell dis' 'cen sell dat'.
Or you could make up an entirely new idea of pumping money in the server

Not sure you get it, an OP isn't the one buying things, it's a player-run economy... Hence the thing about having allies being good.

I'm pretty sure we'll use the standard interest system where you get a certain amount every 10-20 minutes, and then we'd introduce an afk-kicker.

Few points to that:

- Getting money for doing nothing would be kinda lame
- That way it would be very hard to make good amounts of money, nobody is going to buy 100s of diamonds and iron and whatnot.
- I dont mean that OP buy items, its just a shop with a lot of money where you can get rid of the bulk of your goods so you actually have coins instead of items, this could be low priced, to stimulate actual trading, but if I were to sell 300 iron or w/e, it would take days to get rid of it

Dude, you get money for playing, an interest to your bank. How else do you suggest money be put in? We don't want any unlimited money shops.

probably a real pain but, if you win survival games you get some money?
(but that would just make people use 2 accounts...)
