At one point, maybe a week or two ago, I was asked if I wanted to play a minigame in creative. I said I wanted to, and then got a TPA. I was sent to PVP, lagged horribly, caught fire and was trapped in a protected area. I had to log out to keep my items, as there were no mods to help. I eventually relogged when 15 people we're online, and SevV was online. He witnessed my death due to fire, and when this happened, my assailant collected my items. SevV had told him to return items. I had many valuable items. This person claims that he didn't have three of the most valuable things I wanted. SevV checked his inventory, and he indeed did not have it on him. I find it suspect that my best pick, bow and sword mysteriously went missing. I was also dropped a hint from an unnamed source that said assailant had a ridiculously overpowered setup, even though he publicly swears off enchanting. I unfortunately cannot remember any of their usernames, but SD and SevV shoud be able to name them. I would have brought this cheating and exploitation up earlier except my internet went down the day after and we just got it back today. Can you add a 5 second invincibility to TPAs so people can't do this when an able mod isn't online? I think this is subject to ban, but should be brought to light first.

I say you need to trust the person your teleporting to

Never EVER accept TP requests from random persons without being able to protect yourself. You can also let the person say '%' so you can see in which map they're in.

The problem with this is that I thought I knew them. We were playing together before and having fun, but the TPA problem broke rules and exploited commands. I had no way of knowing they were in PCOl but thanks to Thobo's tip I can use that. I still think that won't help a deal however. Set home in PVP. Go to creative, do the symbol, show you're in creative, then /home, request TPA and then when they come they're screwed. I think putting a 7 second invincibility on TPAed people would woekk well. This way they can /spawn and live if TPAed cheatingly.

The invincibilty would not be good, because that would be abused too.
I still think the best thing to do is report it to staff.

Unfourtunatley this is more of a matter of trusting a tp. So you got tricked once, what does it matter? You got the shit back and even if the tp killera were lying there's the magic of /invsee. I'm one for fairness, but this isn't really exploitation but more of a quick little tpa lesson.

PS I do know who did this, and I have talked to then about this. So any question that you want from their side I will be able to question.
