As we get closer to the launch of the new PvP map, I thought it might be a good idea to list some new features for it (and the server). iConomy iConomy is a plugin that introduces currency to the game. When you log in next (if you already haven't), you will have a bank account with $30 to start in it. The money will have a couple uses, mainly, trading with players and buying protection (covered later). There are several ways to gain money: - Trading with players - Event rewards - Interest Interest Every 30 minutes a player will get interest, while not afk (avoiding the afk-kicker will result in a ban). The amount you get a random number between $1 and $3. Ex. $2.35 Transport System Rails & Stations We have set up a rail that leads around the entire map border, to spawn, and to other safe-towns. Nether Firstly, the nether is fixed! However, the portals are staff built and will only be at spawn and other protected towns/places Towny Finally players will be able to get their builds protected. Outsiders can still access chests provided they're left out in the open. I'll write up a tutorial for it later, but the basics of towny is: - Create and join player run towns - Protection for your builds - Towns can band together and form a Nation - For every town block your mayor claims costs $25 (I beleive) - To start a town you require $500, and $1500 for a nation Any questions, just ask. |
